    3. Ordering outdoor bulletin boards – will be a great way to help communication and keep people updated on what’s going on

    2. current commitments:

      1. kindergarten snack- there has been a slight drop-off in parent contributions but we will continue to promote this program

      2. outside bulletin boards-will be ordered soon!

      3. ongoing teacher/staff appreciation

    3. Whole School Field Trips

      1. There are planned trips for each grade through the end of the year, additional details to be shared by school administration soon!

        1. Additional funds are needed to help pay for buses

    4. Middle School Field Trips

      1. 8th grade trip to NYC

      2. middle school dance on spirit of Philadelphia

      3. additional outdoor trip for middle school-TBD

d)  Outlining fundraisers

 Student council fundraising plans

1.     Pretzel sales during winter months- student council selling tickets in each class for tickets that they can redeem downstairs

2.     Snack cart?- bake sales tied to specific holidays- St. Patrick’s Day, Mother’s Day, etc.

2.     Swag and bake sales: once student council finalizes their plans, we can adjust around them, so we are not cannibalizing efforts

1.     1/31-table in the hallway during report card conferences, swag and treat sales

2.     Love-themed swag, candy fundraiser

3.     Middle Grades Dance-valentine’s day

1.     will be treated as a fundraiser to raise money for buses for school trips

2.     8th grade or middle school specific- and led- fundraiser

  1. Exec. Committee Nominating Committee

a)  Current by-laws ask for two-year terms, but we should again reconsider

b)  Nominating committee should be made up of three people who do not plan to see office to identify and recruit candidates. 

  1. Elections meant to be held in April.

  2. Winter supply drive- there are funds for teachers to get some supplies but there is an additional need. teachers are creating amazon wish lists which families will be able to buy things from and have them sent directly to the school and then teachers can “shop” the store and pickup the things they need.
